new eyes

“The real voyage of discovery consists not of seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes”
(Marcel Proust)

one can but try...
so when I get that itch, continually, to just bail and let something new re-energize me...
which I have done so often, the aim is to create my own interest in what is already here.

Don't get me wrong, I will not stop travelling throughout my life (I hope) - for inspiration and perspective and knowledge.

But...blah.

curiosity killed the cat eh

food play

what began as a small birthday project became quite the publishing ordeal
...all for the love of food
...and our mashy friend
A collated recipie book of friends and family. Food - where we all play relaxed like and please the senses.
I did most of the photography and tricia brady did the graphic design (she's tops).

the chair

and so he be relaxin on the grass, taking in the afternoon. a chair left empty.
those snapshots you notice...
don't they make the day just a little more gold

opening lines

The work-a-day of yesteryear was gone. Born was self imposed poverty, a life of simple luxury. The adage read: work less, play harder...

The life of the artist, huh...

Here's a nice quote I read the other day:
"Poverty is a relatively mild disease for even a very flimsy American soul, but uselessness will kill strong and weak souls alike, and kill every time."

Kurt Vonnegut 'God Bless You, Mr Rosewater'

smell here

what scents do ya think lie there within?
a: pure pheromones
b: wet mud
c: blueberrie muffins
d: old paper
e: all of the above, combined

And they be laughin'

and so the boys play...
there's something light about being on a boat. I've fallen for the endless horizon's, the air, light and double blue smacking you constantly in the face

equipment series 1

the modern playground...how utterly boring...we used to be able to hurt ourselves! So, how does an adult play in this space?
